DISSOLVE is a 3D Screen Saver for Windows 95 or Windows NT. It is performing 3D object manipulation and morphing in real time, spining the camera (your viewing point) in 3D space using two degrees of freedom. In this version are included about 30 objects which may appear in random sizes and colors. The transitions between objects are realy worth staring at, because it is not likely to view the same transition often! The objects are displayed using points, fading in distance. Camera moves constantly around them, with varying speeds, creating an amazing effect. |

Electric Sheep is a free, open source screen saver run by thousands of people all over the world. It can be installed on any ordinary PC or Mac. When these computers "sleep", the screen saver comes on and the computers communicate with each other by the internet to share the work of creating morphing abstract animations known as "sheep". The result is a collective "android dream", an homage to Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Anyone watching one of these computers may vote for their favorite animations using the keyboard.
